Vehicle Services
Repairs, maintenance, diagnostics, inspections, and other related mechanical services carried out by independent mobile mechanics, which are arranged through autorepairservice.co.uk.
Booking Policies
The terms relating to appointment confirmation fees, cancellations, refunds, and any applicable additional charges. Customers are advised to review these policies carefully before making a booking.
Mobile Mechanic
An independent vehicle repair professional whose services are advertised or promoted through the autorepairservice.co.uk website.
C. Our Role
autorepairservice.co.uk operates solely as a booking intermediary, connecting customers with independent mobile mechanics. These mechanics operate independently under their own business names and are responsible for managing their own availability, service delivery, pricing, and business operations.
Any agreement relating to the scope of work, payment terms, warranties, parts supplied, workmanship, or disputes is strictly between the customer and the mobile mechanic. This includes, but is not limited to, disagreements concerning pricing, repairs performed, parts used, or the quality of the work carried out.
autorepairservice.co.uk does not mediate disputes between customers and mechanics and does not provide refunds relating to issues with the mechanic’s workmanship or services. However, where appropriate, we may provide the mechanic’s contact details to help facilitate communication.
Our role is limited to providing a convenient and reliable booking platform. Once the appointment confirmation fee has been paid, the vehicle service itself is considered to be purchased directly from the independent mobile mechanic, not from autorepairservice.co.uk.
D. Service Information and Limitations
Our website promotes a range of vehicle repair, diagnostic, maintenance, and inspection services carried out by independent mobile mechanics. We may provide general service descriptions, estimated pricing, and booking assistance, but we do not perform the services ourselves.
All mechanics listed or arranged through autorepairservice.co.uk operate as independent contractors. They are not employees, agents, or representatives of autorepairservice.co.uk and remain solely responsible for the standard, safety, and completion of any work undertaken.
E. Mechanic Availability
We will make every reasonable effort to connect you with a local mobile mechanic in your area. However, if no mechanic is available at your preferred time or location, we may arrange for a mechanic from a neighbouring or alternative area to attend.
F. Booking Policies
Non-Refundable Appointment Confirmation Fees
Once paid, the appointment confirmation fee is final and non-refundable if the customer decides to cancel the booking.
Failure to Provide a Mechanic
If we are unable to arrange a mobile mechanic for your booking, or if a scheduled appointment is missed and no mechanic attends, we will provide a full refund of the appointment confirmation fee upon request.
Sharing Your Contact Details
By making a booking, you agree that your contact information may be shared with the assigned mobile mechanic where necessary to facilitate the appointment and delivery of the service.
Cancellations by Us
In circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to mechanic unavailability, we reserve the right to cancel a booking. If this occurs, the appointment confirmation fee will be refunded in full.
G. Payments for Vehicle Services
All vehicle services are supplied and charged directly by the independent mobile mechanic. Prices may vary depending on several factors, including but not limited to:
- your location
- the make and model of your vehicle
- the urgency of the call-out
- the complexity of the repair
- the availability or cost of parts
Before any repair or diagnostic work begins, the customer must confirm and agree directly with the mobile mechanic regarding:
- the hourly labour rate
- the estimated duration of the work
- any additional costs for parts or materials
